This project is one of several Hearthstone 2.5D cinematic trailers that Mooncolony provided illustrations for. Hearthstone is a free-to-play online collectible card game (CCG) that builds upon the existing lore of the celebrated World of Warcraft (WoW) series from Blizzard Entertainment.
Hearthstone: Deadmines is a cinematic trailer promoting a pirate-themed mini-set, adding 35 new collectible cards to the ‘United in Stormwind’ set (check out our fantastic work for that trailer here). Taking place in Deadmines, one of WoW’s most iconic dungeons, this miniset features Edwin VanCleef and the Defias Brotherhood as pirates.
